Gen #1 Dev Plan - Preliminary outsourcing quote (11.8.2020)
I have preliminary estimate to do the artistick gen-1 as follows:
- hw design using pi-0w as base + additional power management, lipo battery interface (safe shutdown), pcb design, support for crypto keys
- Software SDK for G-drive integration (but not g-suite which we can add later)
- Google authentication integration for on-boarding using Google app engine backend service
- Base-level dial home for health check of artistick
- API to collect and report artistick stats
Estimate: $ 50k over 3 months ($5k sign up + 3 * $ 15k monthly)
- Google cloud cost for dev (expected $1k - $5k during the project)
- $ 1k/month email/slack devops support to LeftBank (not user facing) renewed 6-months at a time
- HW prototype cost estimate $ 1k for 5 proto of artistick gen-1
- Includes review of mechanical packaging but does not include mechanical design or enclosure die/tooling cost
(I know a good mechanical designer - I’ll reach out to him)
HW design and SW codes will be LeftBank intellectual property. There will be some common libraries that exist today and will be licensed free of charge to LBank.
This does not include docs, website, e-commerce, billing etc which will be core Lbank team.
